Daniel B. Wool, M.D.
Daniel B. Wool, M.D. has joined the surgical practice at Barrington Surgeons, Ltd. with Robert C. Witkowski, M.D. and Daniel T. Hoeltgen, M.D.
Dr. Wool graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Rush Medical College, graduating in the top third of his class. He completed his residency in general surgery at Rush University Medical Center and Cook County Hospital. He then went on to finish a fellowship at Stanford University in minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Wool has had extensive training and experience with trauma, critical care, bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgical cases. He is a native of Northbrook, and lives in the area with his wife Sara and two children, Jonathan, age 2 and Olivia, age 5 months. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children and playing golf.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Wool to our practice, as well as to the staff at Good Shepherd Hospital. He is available to see patients in our Barrington office.
